How long does it take to create the website?
The timescale of the project is generally dictated by the client. The most common delay in the creation of a site is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client. If you have a deadline in mind we will endeavour to meet it for you. After a quote we should be able to judge a timescale.

What is a domain name?
A domain name is a specific web site address that you choose and register with the Internet Authorities. Our domain name is "Dixon7.co.uk".

Do I need to buy a domain name and hosting?
No, we do everything for you.

What will my on-going costs be after launching my site?
On-going costs will vary depending on your specific use for your site. These costs will likely include hosting fees, site updates and maintenance, and domain name renewals.

If I buy a website from you do I own it?
Yes, once the website is complete you own it. Our clients are not obligated to host with us (even though most do) and are always free to have anyone they want work on their website.

Do I need to hire a local web site designer?
No. We are based in the Midlands, England. However, by using the Internet, email and the telephone, it is possible to communicate effectively with clients in nearly any location; either local, national or internationally based.

What is web hosting?
Web hosting is a monthly fee that you pay to have your site accessible on the Internet. We offer web hosting for all of our clients. We can combine this with site maintenance if required.

What is site maintenance?
Maintenance is a fee paid monthly to keep your site updated with new content that you provide. Both website visitors and search engines appreciate fresh website content. We can combine this with web hosting if required.
